About me
Richard Lefebvre, CFRE, is Associate Director of Development at The National Ballet of Canada, where he oversees Individual and Legacy Giving. With 25 years of fundraising experience, Richard specializes in donor-centred strategies that inspire transformational philanthropy and long-term donor engagement.
A passionate educator and leader, Richard taught Fundraising, Grant Writing & Government Relations, and Financial Management in the Arts in the Arts Management Program at Centennial College from 2019 to 2025. His contributions to the profession have been recognized with several honours, including the CAGP Toronto Chapter Excellence in Legacy Giving Award (2022), the Sweatman Award (2023), and the Donor Motivation Program Charity Fundraiser Award (2025).
Richard currently serves as Co-Chair of the CAGP Greater Toronto Area Chapter.
