About me
Nader El Nakib is the Head of Private Sector Partnerships at UNHCR Canada. Previously, he
served as the Chief of Partnerships for UNHCR MENA.He is a results-oriented manager and a
certified Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Practitioner with over 28 years of experience,
demonstrating a strong track record in developing strategic plans that promote social good.
Mr. El Nakib possesses extensive international experience in managing, consulting, fundraising, and
marketing across both for-profit and non-profit sectors, engaging with various industries such as
humanitarian, development, politics, sustainability, construction, aviation, retail, education, and
telecommunications.
Prior to his tenure at UNHCR, Mr. El Nakib advised Prime Ministers on matters related to youth
and immigration and was appointed as a UN Global Compact Ambassador for Climate Action.
Among his numerous contributions, he considers the establishment of G, the first green building
consulting firm in Lebanon, as his most valued achievement.
Mr. El Nakib holds a bachelor’s degree from the American University of Beirut and an MBA
from Boston University.
