About me
Kevin Cooper is an advocacy and fundraising professional who has spent his career expanding the power and effectiveness of environmental and labour organizations throughout North America. He presently serves as the Vice President for Community Giving at WWF-Canada, helping to raise the grassroots funds necessary to protect at-risk species and habitats from coast to coast to coast. Prior to this, he served as National Political Director for the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) and Deputy Political Director for the Communications Workers of America (CWA) – two of the largest labour unions in North America – and also served as Deputy Political Director for the Bernie Sanders 2020 presidential campaign in the United States. In his personal capacity, Kevin also has the privilege of sitting on the Board of Directors of Environmental Defence Canada. Kevin hails from the Chicagoland area of Illinois and spent 14 years residing in Washington, D.C. before relocating to Toronto.
