The sponsorship and philanthropic landscape has shifted dramatically over the past five years. Traditional assumptions no longer hold—and many organizations are leaving revenue potential on the table because they haven’t adapted.
This session is designed not as a presentation, but as a provocative working conversation for senior leaders navigating these changes.
Part 1: A Reality Check Brent will open with a concise, insight-driven overview of:
  • What has fundamentally changed in sponsorship and partnership revenue
  • Where charities and nonprofits are struggling—and why
  • The emerging opportunities that forward-thinking organizations are already leveraging
Part 2: (Interactive Dialogue) Participants will be invited into a facilitated, candid discussion grounded in real tensions, such as:
  • Are we treating sponsorship as philanthropy—with the wrong expectations?
  • Is sponsorship worth the effort relative to return—or are we approaching it incorrectly?
  • Do smaller or community-based organizations truly have a place in sponsorship?
  • What would it take for your organization to take sponsorship seriously as a revenue stream?
Rather than a traditional Q&A, this will function as a peer exchange, with Brent responding, challenging assumptions, and drawing out shared insights from the group.
