Mid-career can be the moment when fundraisers stop asking only what they do and start asking who they are becoming. In this uplifting and thought-provoking session, Jenny Mitchell explores self-leadership, passion and purpose, career journeys, the psychology that shapes how we work, and the power of building bridges across departments—inviting fundraisers to lead with greater courage, humanity, and intention.
Through an interactive conversation, sharing strategic principles and peer to peer experiential sharing, participants will gain knowledge to understand what makes cross-departmental relationships thrive and to practice simple frameworks for building trust, navigating tension, and collaborating more effectively. They will also gain insight into key psychological concepts (such as mindset, motivation, and emotional triggers) and learn how to apply them to lead themselves and others with greater clarity, influence, and effectiveness.
